MetroArts Detroit

I was enrolled in MetroArts for the 2019 winter semester. MetroArts is a television program aired on Detroit Public Television that features artists in and around the Metropolitan Detroit area representing the disciplines of visual, performing, and communication arts. The goal of MetroArts is to bring awareness to up-and-coming artists as well as support artists who've worked in Detroit for a long period of time.

On MetroArts, I was an Associate Producer. As Associate Producer, I researched and pitched potential guests, contacted guests to figure out the best way to showcase their talent and work, designed visually appealing sets for each guest, completed a segment rundown that listed interview questions, segment flow and timing, musical needs, research links for hosts, and a bio of the guest(s). On days I wasn't producing, I ran teleprompter or was the catering coordinator.

I produced six segments for the show: Luis Resto, Ballet Folklorico de Detroit, Jake Mulka, Reel Clever Films, Marlo Broughton, and Patrick Ethen. The photo gallery below gives insight on each guest and the experience I had on MetroArts
